Addiction

we see addiction everyday.
it's shocking how many kinds of addiction exist.
it would be too easy if it was just drugs and pills and cigarettes.
i think the hardest part of kicking a habit is wanting to kick it,
i mean we get addicted for a reason, right?
often, too often, things that start out are just a normal part of your life
at some point cross the line, too obsessive, compulsive, out of control.
it's the high we're chasing, the high that makes everything else fade away.
still, they say u don't kick the habit until u hit rock or bottom.
but how do you know when you were there?
because no matter how badly a thing is hurting us,
sometimes letting it go hurts even worse.

whining wont make things any better.
when times get tough,
realise that no matter what your problem is,
someone is and will always be
fighting a harder battle then you.
it's not worth sweating over
the little things in life.
have hope but understand
that without doing anything,
nothing gets done.
remember everyday is a gift.
even on rainy days.

so never give up.

Just wanted to say hi and send my love..
I was reading the whole discussion chat on how we came up with this blog name..
It's funny...

We went from Emo kids.. to punk kids.. to cologne/perfume names.. to being gay.. to beer names... and some weird names like sixthlegacy or Transend (That made us sound kinda Tranny... lol)

We settled for bubsmellsfunny.. for our unanimous love for Bubs..
We have come a long way.. a long the way.. well not THAAAT LONG... but yeah..
We've been though so much good times together..
and we have all been annoyed here and there with each other definately.....
But we always overcome the whole thing.. by getting over it.
I'm kinda glad and happy.. we're all very different people...
from seemingly different backgrounds.. getting together... and sticking together.

Okay i know u guys think im fulla crap now... but Just wanna say...
I love you guys.. and if I have EVER.. done anything to make you guys unhappy...etc..
I'm sorry.. :) I'm glad glad glad and proud to be one of the bubs..

wat has changed?

since joining the army 2 months ago,
there are certain changes in my life.
and there are somethings tat has remain the same.

Wat has changed?
-tougher and fitter.
-lesser entertainment and privilege
-only 6 hours of slp
-low income
-read a book

Wat hasn't changed?
-discipline.
-my annoying ex-gf still bothers me.
-my friends around me
-drinking habits

POP!!

finally.. i'm free.
free from recruit life.
free for 9 days.
i deserve all these.
much is to be expected when i'm back at camp next monday.
MOST likely to be posted to RECCE.(or rather SCOUT)
it's very tough, it's very demanding.
but i like challenges.
10 weeks of hell.
i want my jungle hat and black beret.
i'm looking to tat reward.
