The Final ROAR!!!

Yes!! The Kallang Roar!! Tat was one major reason i went.
I was there wif my friends
.
at the entrance
taufik, hafiz & hakim
It was so amazing. I must say for those who were
not there last nite, u all MISSED OUT ALOT. 1st of all, s'pore beat the thais, ya, but it's not done yet. There's still a 2nd leg this coming sun.
s'pore fans
Everyone was so excited. Why? Maybe becos it's the last they'll see of
the kallang stadium, kallang roar, kallang wave. Everyone wants to play a part and join in the fun. The match hasn't started yet but the fans were there early singing and cheering.
first XI warming up
Den i realise tat the thai fans were seated jus beside us. Things when well
until the match started.
national anthem
praying helps
ready?
I'm not here to say wat's happening every minute or
every sec of the game. But from wat i saw, s'pore was more agressive but the thais were faster. Somehow i tot the thais were smaller compared to s'pore. So were the strength of the thai fans. It's more like a 10% thai fans and 90% s'pore. Maybe more s'pore fans. I duno.
the thai fans wif their hands lifted
It's obvious. Thai's were in yellow and s'pore was in red. But there's something i dun understand abt them. When s'pore scored the
opening goal, the thai fans were still singing and dancing. Do they not know wat's happening on the pitch? Or are they paid to come here and dance? Or is it the love of the game? I dun get it. But i pity the thai fans. They did shouted at us, which i dun understand of cos but we went over the limit. We made fun of their national anthem. We gave them everything. From plastic bottles to chicken wings. Everything was thrown at them. So bad till the cops had to call in for back up. Sorry thai fans. It's the way our country works. Take it or leave it. For 15 mins, the game was stopped as the thais walk out of the pitch in protest to the ref for awarding s'pore a penalty. It was onli during the penalty tat the stadium became quiet. But watever it is, i was there to give my full support to my country and to see the last of kallang stadium den we can say goodbye to our grand ol' dame. Tat done, the demolition crew can move in. But there's few things tat i can't express in words. U've to be there to experience it. It was the kallang roar. So loud tat i even felt the stadium tremble. Earthquake?? Ya somethin like tat. I was in seventh heaven last nite from SINGAPORE GO! to OLE! OLE! OLE! we sang it wif pride. Even at the start of the game when the singapore anthem was played, i could onli hear the introduction of the music den the fan's singing took the music down. Most of them ended up singing to fast. But i could hear the thai anthem. also, the kallang wave. From the top to the bottom we went in rounds. So beautiful tat the thais were fascinated, they didn't join in. Every wave tat hit them, a chorus of boos was wat they got for not joining in the wave. Fahrudin, the man who took the penalty, said tat he couldn't explain his feelings neither can he describe it. I noe i can nvr bring back wat i experience last nite. It was truely amazing to see the singapore fans unite and the atmosphere. The kallang stadium ended in a very beautiful way. It wasn't abt the score. When the final whistle was blown, i saw a player placing his lips on the pitch for a while. We nvr wanted to part wif the kallang stadium who has been wif us since i was born, who has also brought alot of memories.
full-house stadium
Well done Singapore!! And best of luck in the 2nd leg
.
